BANGKOK. SPEKTRUMNASIONAL.COM Presiden Joko Widodo melakukan pertemuan dengan Chief Executive Daerah Adminitrasi Khusus Hong Kong John Lee di sela pertemuan pemimpin ekonomi APEC di Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Jumat, 18 November 2022.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Presiden Jokowi membahas tiga isu utama yaitu kerja sama perdagangan, investasi, dan perlindungan WNI di Hong Kong.
“Saya melihat banyak potensi yang dapat digarap khususnya dengan Hong Kong untuk mewujudkan kerja sama perdagangan yang seimbang. Akses produk Indonesia dapat diperluas, termasuk perikanan, makanan olahan dan rempah-rempah,” ucap Presiden Jokowi.
Lebih lanjut, Presiden juga mengatakan bahwa Hong Kong, memiliki potensi sebagai _entry point_ ekspor Indonesia ke _Mainland China._
Di bidang Investasi, Presiden Jokowi mengundang para investor Hong Kong, sebagai salah satu sumber investasi terbesar Indonesia untuk dapat mendukung pembangunan IKN sebagai _Green City._
“Investor Hong Kong dapat turut mengembangkan infrastruktur, transportasi, _green energy,_ transformasi digital dan _value added industries,”_ kata Presiden Jokowi.
Terkait isu perlindungan WNI di Hong Kong, Presiden Jokowi sampaikan apresiasinya atas bantuan dan fasilitas kepada Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Hong Kong terutama selama pandemi Covid-19.
Sementara itu saat menyampaikan pengantarnya, Chief Executive Hong Kong John Lee mengucapkan selamat atas kesuksesan Indonesia dalam G20 yang mendapat sambutan baik dunia. Selain itu Hong Kong juga akan berkomitmen untuk terus meningkatkan kerja sama dengan Indonesia.
Turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi dalam pertemuan tersebut antara lain Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung.
