Sukabumi.Spektrum-nasional.com || Wakil Komandan Korps Marinir (Wadan Kormar) Brigjen TNI (Mar) Suherlan tinjau Latihan Bersama (Latma) Prajurit Korps Marinir TNI AL dengan United States Marine Corps (USMC) dari The U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (Marforpac), didampingi Danpasmar 1 Brigjen TNI (Mar) Umar Farouq , S.A.P., CHRMP. dengan tajuk latihan Marine Exercise (Marex) Tahun 2023 di Puslatpurmar 6 Antralina, Jampang Tengah, Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, Sabtu (09/12/23).
Latma Keris Marex tahun 2023 ini telah berlangsung selama 20 hari dengan berbagai latihan yang digelar, diantaranya menembak mortir 60 mm, menembak GPMG, patroli hutan (jungle patrol), bertahan hidup di hutan (jungle survival), dan pertempuran kota. Dengan melibatkan jajaran prajurit Pasmar 1 dan fasilitas daerah latihan Puslatpurmar 6 Antralina, Jampang Tengah, Sukabumi.
Dalam arahannya didepan seluruh prajurit Korps Marinir yang terlibat latihan, Wadan Kormar mengatakan, "komandan Korps Marinir menyampaikan rasa bangganya kepada kalian Prajurit Petarung Korps Marinir. Dengan dilaksanakan latihan ini diharapkan pengetahuan, kemampuan, maupun skill bertempur kalian akan meningkat serta jalinan persaudaraan antara Korps Marinir dan USMC semakin erat. Kami semua percaya bahwa kalian mampu menjadi yang terbaik, tunjukkan semangatmu, jadilah Prajurit Korps Marinir yang handal, cerdas, sigap dan profesional," ucapnya.
Ia menjelaskan, tujuan dalam Latma ini selain bertukar ilmu dan skill pertempuran bagi peserta latihan dari kedua negara, juga untuk mempererat peran diplomasi korps marinir TNI angkatan laut serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan profesionalisme prajurit.
Turut hadir mengikuti tinjauan latihan, Colonel Sivert dari United States Marine Corps (USMC), Asops Dankormar Kolonel Mar. Nanang Saefulloh, Kadispen Kormar Kolonel Mar. Bambang Dillianto, Asops Danpasmar 1 Kolonel Mar. Dwi Ariyanto, Kasetum Kormar Kolonel Mar. Hadi, Pabanopslat Letkol Mar. Kadar Budiyono, Wadanbrigif 1 Mar, Dansatgas Latma Keris Marex Tahun 2023 Letkol Mar. Arief Bastian Sanusi Chaniago, Danpuslatpurmar 6 Antralina Mayor Mar. Ahmad Yani dan segenap Perwira jajaran Pasmar 1.
