BANGKOK. SPEKTRUMNASIONAL.COM || Presiden Joko Widodo melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan Perdana Menteri Selandia Baru Jacinda Ardern di Hotel Kimpton Maa-Lai, Bangkok, Jumat pagi 18 November 2022.
Dalam sambutan pengantarnya, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan harapannya agar spirit kerja sama G20 dapat berlanjut di KTT APEC kali ini. "APEC harus menjadi bagian dari upaya mendorong percepatan pemulihan ekonomi di kawasan Asia dan Pasifik," ucap Presiden Jokowi.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Presiden Jokowi membahas tiga isu utama yaitu penguatan kerja sama ekonomi, kerja sama transisi energi, dan penguatan kerja sama di kawasan Pasifik.
"Kita perlu dorong akses pasar bagi perdagangan kedua negara khususnya pada komoditas pertanian, mineral, besi dan baja, dan plastik serta kerja sama bidang pertanian dan sertifikasi halal," ucap Presiden.
Di bidang kerja sama transisi energi, Presiden Jokowi mengatakan Indonesia terus perkuat upaya transisi energi menggunakan energi baru dan terbarukan.
"Saya mengundang pebisnis Selandia Baru untuk investasi pada pengembangan energi panas bumi di Indonesia," ucap Presiden Jokowi.
Sementara itu di bidang kerja sama kawasan, Presiden Jokowi mengatakan Indonesia berkomitmen untuk mendorong kerja sama pembangunan di Pasifik. Untuk itu, tahun depan, Indonesia akan mendorong engagement negara Pasifik dengan ASEAN.
"Saya ingin Selandia Baru dapat menjadi jembatan penghubung kemitraan antara ASEAN dan Pasifik di kawasan Indo-Pasifik," kata Presiden.
Sementara itu, dalam pengantarnya, PM Jacinda menyampaikan apresiasinya atas penyelenggaraan G20 di Indonesia dan mengucapkan selamat kepada Indonesia atas keketuaan ASEAN 2023.
"Selandia Baru siap mendukung keketuaan Indonesia dalam ASEAN tahun depan," ucap PM Jacinda.
Turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi dalam pertemuan tersebut yaitu Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto dan Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung.
