Jakarta.Spektrum-nasional.com || Presiden Joko Widodo beraudiensi dengan Paguyuban Sosial Marga Tionghoa Indonesia (PSMTI) di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Senin (15/05/23).
Dewan Kehormatan Senior PSMTI, Hary Tanoesoedibjo mengatakan bahwa pertemuan ini merupakan pertemuan pertama PSMTI bersama kepala negara setelah 25 tahun berdiri.
"Esensi dari pertemuan tadi adalah silaturahmi karena baru pertama kali (bertemu Presiden) dari 25 tahun," tutur Hary.
Dikatakan Hary, bahwa dalam pertemuan tersebut, PSMTI turut menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Presiden Jokowi atas segala pencapaian dalam pembangunan Indonesia.
"Kemudian yang kedua adalah saya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Bapak Jokowi, presiden kita, Presiden Republik Indonesia, atas pencapaian yang telah dilakukan sehingga ekonomi Indonesia bisa tumbuh dengan baik meskipun ada pandemi," ucap Hary.
Lebih lanjut, Hary menjelaskan bahwa PSMTI merupakan perkumpulan dari warga Tionghoa di Indonesia dengan berbagai macam marga dimana sebagian besarnya merupakan pengusaha.
"Saya ingin menyampaikan bahwa PSMTI adalah paguyuban atau perkumpulan dari semua warga Tionghoa di Indonesia yang marganya banyak sekali bermacam-macam dinaungi di bawah PSMTI, dan kalau saya lihat dari data statistik, ada 7 juta lebih warga Tionghoa di Indonesia dan juga tentunya mayoritas dari mereka adalah pengusaha," jelasnya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam audiensi tersebut yaitu Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno.
