SPEKTRUMNASIONAL.COM || 7 November 2022, Ketua umum Partai Mahasiswa Indonesia (PMI) Turut mengomentari persoalan kontroversi yang muncul di tubuh lembaga antirasuah Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), setelah ketua KPK menemui Tersangka Dugaan Kasus Korupsi Lukas Enembe beberapa hari yang lalu di jayapura.
Menurutnya, apa yang di lakukan oleh ketua Komisi pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Firli Bahuri tidak sama sekali melanggar aturan perundang-undangan.
"Seorang Pimpinan Lembaga Penegak Hukum, menemui orang yang sedang berperkara, dalam kapasitas sebagai pimpinan yang memimpin penyidikan dan pertemuan tersebut di lalukan secara terbuka dan informasinya kemudian di sampaikan ke publik, ini salahnya dimana? Dan apa yang sebenarnya di persoalkan?," Kata eko dalam keterangan tertulisnya.
Kami menilai apa yang di lakukan oleh ketua KPK Firli bahuri adalah bagian dari upaya penegakan hukum.
"selagi dalam konteks menjalankan tugas penyidikan kami rasa itu bukan persoalan. Dan kami mendukung apapun upaya Komisi Pemberantasa Korupsi (KPK) dalam menegakkan kasus yang sedang di tangani saat ini," Tandas Eko
Eko mengajak semua madyarakat untuk tidak boleh berprasangka buruk atas upaya yang oleh KPK.
"Terakhir kami mengajak kepada seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk tidak berprasangka buruk atas segala upaya yang di lakukan oleh Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), dan harusnya kita mendukung segala bentuk upaya penegakan hukum yang sedang di tempuh," Tutup Eko.
