JAKARTA. SPEKTRUMNASIONAL.COM || Direktur Jenderal (Dirjen) Bina Administrasi Kewilayahan (Adwil) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) Safrizal ZA berharap, gelaran Integrated Techhnolgy Event (ITE) 2022 dapat menjadi momentum untuk menumbuhkan konsep kota cerdas atau smart city di seluruh Indonesia. Hal itu disampaikannya saat memberikan laporan dalam acara pembukaan ITE 2022 di Hall A Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Rabu (05/10/2022).
"Harapannya kita, bukan hanya sepuluh, dua puluh, kalau perlu seluruh kota di Indonesia (menjadi) kota cerdas," kata Safrizal.
Dia melanjutkan, gelaran ini juga dilaksanakan sebagai forum dan expo teknologi internasional bagi sektor berbasis Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK), kecerdasan buatan atau Artificial Intelligent (AI), Internet of Thing (IoT), serta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan bisnis terkait solusi maupun penyediaan kota cerdas.
"Acara ini juga untuk mendukung pengelolaan sistem manajemen dan teknologi air bersih, pengelolaan persampahan, limbah, dan sistem transportasi cerdas," ujarnya.
Dirinya berharap, gelaran tersebut menjadi titik balik untuk mengoptimalkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian pengelolaan perkotaan dalam rangka mewujudkan pelayanan perkotaan yang efektif dan efisien.
Adapun ITE 2022 digelar secara fisik yang terdiri dari pameran Indo Water, Indo Waste, dan Indo Renergy, serta Indonesia International Smart City (IISMEX) 2022 Expo & Forum. Acara tersebut akan berlangsung dari 5 hingga 7 Oktober 2022 di JCC, Jakarta.
Selain itu, ITE 2022 juga menghadirkan lebih dari 200 peserta pameran dari 19 negara, dengan estimasi pengunjung lebih dari 10.000 orang. Di samping eksibisi, gelaran ITE 2022 juga menginisiasi forum-forum profesional yang akan menghubungkan pemerintah pusat, para kepala daerah baik gubernur, wali kota, maupun bupati, dengan para pelaku teknologi solusi dan referensi dari berbagai ahli maupun praktisi.
