Risti Yuni Lestari bicara pada Konferensi Pers tersebut sehubungan dengan Rylife bersama Perdana Menteri Malaysia ke-9, Royal Group, dan KEIND Malaysia baru saja menggelar event “Gerakan wakaf sejuta Al-Qur’an”. Event tersebut dalam rangka menyambut bulan suci Ramadan 1444 H.
“Gerakan wakaf sejuta Al-Qur’an kami lakukan untuk pesantren-pesantren di Banten dan Jawa Barat,” kata Risti Yuni Lestari.
Event Gerakan wakaf sejuta Al-Qur’an perdana digelar Rylife pada Senin (13/3/2023) lalu di Pondok Pesantren As-Shofa, Kecamatan Rajeg, Tangerang, Banten. Acara tersebut dimulai dari pukul 17.00 WIB, diikuti oleh 100 santri dari pondok pesantren tersebut. Berlanjut dengan salat Maghrib berjamaah, dan doa bersama, sebagai rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT.
“Pondok Pesantren As-Shofa sebagai tempat perdana bagi Rylife dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan Gerakan Wakaf Sejuta Al-Qur’an,” kata Risti Yuni Lestari.
Risti Yuni Lestari juga mengatakan bahwa Gerakan wakaf sejuta Al-Qur’an semoga dapat membawa keberkahan bagi anak-anak di pondok pesantren. Ia berharap program tersebut akan terus berlanjut.
